New England Multimedia provides a whole range of web services including Domain Registration; Website and WordPress Blog Consultation, Design, and Setup; Logo Design; Social Media Training; Hosting; Copywriting, Proofreading, and Editing; Web Video Production; Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and more.

Below is a list of our a la carte services. Value Packages are available!

1. Domain Name Registration/Setup

If you have an existing domain name, we’ll need to point the name servers to our server. Your domain registrar (the place where you registered your domain name) can assist you with this, or we can do it for you. If you do not have a domain name, we can register a name for you and set up the domain to point to our server.

2. Database Setup (for WordPress users)

We’ll do database setup on the server, before the installation of WordPress.

3. Installation of Design Template (for WordPress users)

After you decide upon your design template from our extensive catalog of themes, we’ll upload the WordPress files to your domain and run the installation. Once installation is complete, we’ll login to your WordPress Website and begin setting up your design according to your needs and specifications.

4. Widget Integration/Customization (for WordPress users)

Widgets are tools or content that you can add, arrange, and remove from the sidebars of your blog to provide your readers with information and options that meet your blog needs. Plugins are programs that add a specific set of features or services to your WordPress weblog.

New England Multimedia will talk with you about different options, find and customize widgets and plugins for your blog, troubleshoot and test them, and integrate them into your site.

 

5. Logo Design

We’ll meet with you or talk over the phone/through email to discuss your ideas for your logo and brand. Based upon this conversation, we’ll design the first draft of your logo. Upon review of our first design, you will have the option to make 3 revisions if you like the work on the initial design.

If you do not approve the initial design, we’ll start from scratch based upon your ideas. After the second design is reviewed by you, you’ll have the option to either make changes to this design (up to 3 revisions) or cancel the design process all together.

If you do not approve either of the first 2 designs provided to you by New England Multimedia, you are entitled to either a 50% refund of the logo design service, or we’ll create a third design based on your ideas.

If New England Multimedia creates a third design, you are not entitled to a refund whether you accept the design or not. This is due to the amount of work New England Multimedia will have done to create your design concepts. If you accept the third design, you are entitled to 3 revisions.

6. Content Editing/Proofing and Minor Rewrites

You are responsible for all of your web content, or text. However, the information you provide on your Website must be free from errors and written well for your visitors to not only learn about your business but also feel confident in your abilities. Having content that has spelling and typographical errors is unprofessional and leads to a negative web experience.

New England Multimedia provides professional editing, proofreading, and minor rewrite services to ensure your content is free of errors, and is clearly written. For an additional cost, we will also do keyword/keyphrase research and include those terms throughout your copy, allowing you to target your audience with the search engines.

If more extensive rewrites are needed, we’ll talk with you about your options.

7. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Along with having content that is optimized for the search engines, it is vital that your overall Website/Blog be optimized for the search engines as well. New England Multimedia provides SEO for your Website during the development, design and adding of your content. This includes: changing your permalinks structure, installation of SEO plugins, including your main keywords in your title bar, putting in your meta tags and making sure you have good headlines for search engines.

8. Web Video

New England Multimedia can produce professional web videos with professional audio for your Website or WordPress Blog, and for uploading to YouTube (which gets 1 billion videos views per day). YouTube videos will increase your online visibility and increase your search engine relevance, but more importantly, web video allows you to personalize your website from a plain text site to a dynamic and personal experience for your visitors.

Our video equipment includes a professional lighting kit and a Sony Ex-3 HD Cam, and our audio equipment and expertise is the best in the industry, providing a professional quality video that will leave viewers with a positive impression of your business.

If you have video you’ve shot, New England Multimedia will add graphics, intro and outro screens, original music, and more to make your video all it can be.

10. Web/Email Hosting

New England Multimedia provides hosting packages for all our Website clients, with prices dependent upon your needs for bandwidth and traffic.

 

11. Support/Training

New England Multimedia provides both video-based training as well as one-on-one training. This can cover all aspects of managing and maintaining your website, social media tips and techniques, search engine optimization and other important aspects of ensuring your online success.

Our Training/Support Plans are as follows:

a. Single Solution (BASIC) lets you correspond with New England Multimedia to resolve a single support issue every month for $25/month via email. Solutions are provided via email.*†

b. Single Solution (PLUS) lets you correspond with New England Multimedia to resolve a single support issue every month for $50/month via email. Solutions are provided via video tutorials.*†

c. Flex Support Plan (BASIC) lets you correspond with New England Multimedia for up to one hour per month for any number of issues for $100/month. Flex Support Plan (BASIC) members receive person-to-person support via telephone and/or email. Solutions are provided via email.*†

d. Flex Support Plan (PLUS) lets your correspond with New England Multimedia for up to one hour per month for any number of issues for $150/month. Flex Support Plan (BASIC) members receive person-to-person support via telephone and/or email. Solutions are provided via video tutorials.*†

* Support Plans are for 6-month terms. Unused support does not “roll over” into the next month.

† Support plans include complete access to New England Multimedia’s Support Forum, where you will have the opportunity to learn from the questions others have had. Videos made for clients who have video support plans will also be made available for others to view on the Support Forum.
