
Are you persuading people to share your content so you can drive traffic back to your website or blog?
So you want to use video for your brand, but you’re just not sure what to do other than the traditional, “Hi, I’m Michelle Quillin with New England Multimedia” type of “Meet the owner” video. You’ve thought it might be cool to interview employees. Maybe shoot video of everyone working. But other than that, you’re just drawing a blank.
Those kinds of videos are fine, and definitely have a place on your website or blog. But they’re not going to drive traffic to your site.
You want to attract your target audience to your website or blog, and persuade them to share your content with their friends, colleagues, and family. Have you considered shooting video of book or product reviews that your audience would be interested in? How about sharing or shooting videos of interesting things to do or see in your region, to give your brand a “hometown” feel? Or throwing a party for your partners and customers, and shooting video testimonials while they’re there?
